I was born in Newport Beach California and moved to Grand Island Nebraska at an early age. As I remember, the midwest was a fantastic place to grow up. There were four seasons, many ponds to fish and enough small town drama to keep things interesting. After graduating from high school, I returned to Orange County California to study Audio Engineering at Golden West College in Huntington Beach. I was also hired as a Radio Announcer for a station that played really sappy "muzak", it's a long story, but I got to announce the news every hour and use my "DJ news voice" so that made it tolerable for about five months.
I went back to the midwest to attend the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in English and a minor in Film Studies. Upon Graduating I promptly returned to Orange County with the intention of making movies. With no money, and essentially no "movie making" skills, I settled for still photography as a way to earn a living and stay on track with someday making films. The digital revolution made it possible for me to excel to the next level.
Over the past fifteen years I have accumulated a vast knowledge using the industry standard graphics programs like Photoshop, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Apple Logic, Motion, Maya 2009 and a bunch of other applications that do really terrific stuff!
As I put these tools to use for myself and others, I'm on a journey to make films and create quality visual content for a diverse group of clients. Stay tuned...the best is yet to come!
